| Of all education, the most important is Biblical |
You know...a person can be an expert on a thing, but dumb as a post on some others. For
example, some can calculate the minutes to the moon, but can't put some shelves together. I won't get into my weak points, but I can do wonders with velcro. I traded cars and wanted my ten CD
player moved to my new car, and after a while, the mechanics came in and said there was no place they could bore on the dashboard,
to position the controls. I said, "use velcro," and it worked perfectly. Our new ice shaver wouldn't work until
the cubes set for at least three minutes, so the slick ice that our freezer makes, could melt enough for the shaver to get
hold of it, so it would shave the cubes into snow. I tried putting crushed ice in the machine, instead of dry cubes, and it
worked immediately. But don't ask me how those new cell phones work. I bought
mine for emergencies only, and every time I want to make a call, it's an emergency. It's a good thing we don't
have to phone, to get in touch with God. And you know, there's more truth
than fiction in that thought. I've mentioned at other times, although in a different vein, how you don't get a "busy"
signal when you call on The Lord. No waiting...no long-distance charges, no pressing "one" for Gabriel, and getting
put on "hold" if you want to talk to The Lord Himself. And that's
been true ever since time began. You don't have to wait until God gets through talking to some big wheel. If you haven't
given your heart to Him, what I'm saying shouldn't be taken lightly...Jehovah God and His Son, Jesus Christ, and the
third one in the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, all are on call 24/7, and are waiting for your call. I couldn't be more serious
when I say the most important thing you'll ever do, will be to give your life to Christ, because when you choose Him,
you get all three.. Anything else, and everything else is a distant second. Talk with Him. The prophecies the Apostle John
tells of in the Book of Revelation may be at our doorstep. And even if it isn't, the day each of us dies, is the end of
our chances for an everlasting afterlife in Heaven. You don't have to put up with a life of uncertainty---accept Jesus
Christ and be sure of where you'll spend eternity.
