I suppose every church that uses the Holy Bible as its source, preaches and stresses Romans 8:38-39,
where the Apostle Paul says, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers,
nor things present, nor things to come...Not height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from
the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." That clear, isn't it. There's
no room for argument. God loves you, no matter who you are, or what you're doing. He loves even the vilest sinner. He
loves the murderer, the rapist, even the liar. But don't be misled. As much as God loves each
and every one of us, that does NOT allow you to live like the devil and expect God to let it go. You're not going to get
into Heaven unless you give your life to Him (and when I say, "Him," I'm including Jesus Christ and the Holy
Spirit). And as long as I've mentioned it, Jesus said, "And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it
shall be forgiven him; but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world,
neither in the world to come." (Matthew 12:32). And I tell you, whatever you believe or don't believe about the Holy
Spirit, don't criticize or make fun of those who disagree with you. You might be wrong. But
back to the love of God, you can preach it, you can pray it, you can believe you're right, but if you're doing things
that the Bible says are wrong, you're not going to get away with it. You can vote that it's ok, or that the Bible
doesn't really mean what it says, or that times have changed, or that your denomination has said the by-laws have been
adjusted...God has not changed. And no...Jesus won't "throw you into hell," as I
hear so often...but His angels will. That chore has been alloted to them, (Matthew 13:41-50) and there will be no debate;
negotiation as to what was decided by your church leaders. What to do? Read your Bible. All the
pages. Pray for guidance. WWJD.
