You may not believe this. I had to test it repeatedly, even though it had happened to me. I’m relating
it to you, at this writing, on September 21, 2010. Here it is:
For years, I’ve been writing and putting my Conquest articles and books on the website that many of
you look at from time to time. No problem. But on Friday, September 17th., the computer decided not to save anaddition to
my book I call “The Other Concordance.” And for three days, I spent literally hours at the computer, calling the
company in California and talking to persons as to what had happened, and why.
The first was a very nice lady who was sympathetic, but couldn’t help, but in the process of the hour
I was with her, we had a conversation and I explained what I do with the website. She brought up the site and seemed interested,
and said she would be reading my articles. I told her how pleased I was that someone way out in California would be reading
my work, and she said, “Oh, I’m in the Philippine Islands.” Imagine that! Way over, even in a different
time zone, in the vast South Pacific Ocean, south of Japan and Korea!
The next person she got me in touch with turned out to be a man in India, who also indicated he would look
at my articles, but couldn’t help with my computer problem.
The third was another lady, who also turned out to be in the Philippines, and in the course of our conversation,
I got up the nerve to ask whether she was a “believer,” and she said she is, and asked what church I go to. When
I answered “The Assembly of God,” she said…listen to me…she said, “So do I.”
Can you imagine the thoughts running through my head? These hadn’t been able to solve the problem in
my computer, but were letting me reach out halfway around the world, with words about The Christ!
You’d think that this was the end of my story, but no. This lady directed me to a fourth person, who
looked into my website and went through a process, but couldn’t find the reason for the problem.
He finally asked me to go through the entire proceeding I do, in moving a writing from its beginning, to its
place in the website. I wrote “This is a test,“ into the book, as he watched, click by click, and wonder of wonders,
the website saved it! The technical support man hadn’t done anything but watch! To further test, I went in and deleted
the “test,” and again, everything worked perfectly. And today, Tuesday, September 21st at this writing, I made
an addition, and it went through.
So what do you think. I’m going with this: I’ve told God from time to time, that if even one person
reads something I’ve written, and it brings them closer to Christ, or causes even one to give a life to Him, that my
work has been successful. And to have a computer balk for no reason, and open these writings to persons ten-thousand miles
away, who am I to doubt His Ways.
This is my testimony. Draw your own conclusions.
