Do we Christians have a right to be “offended” as those people do who are making a mockery of
the good in this world, all in the name of “freedom of speech?
The latest is that some are offended because their kids’ school had graduation in a (heaven forbid)
in a church. When are these people, who surely have never read our nation’s Constitution, are going to realize that
this fallacy was cooked up by atheists who will stop at nothing to put God out of our lives. They’re even getting him
out of some churches, apparently because some luke-warm church-goers would rather hear a feel-good talk than a Bible-based
truth. What a pity that on that Great Judgment Day, God will shake His head and say, “I never knew you.”
You “offended” people have heard it before, now hear it once more: The Constitution only guarantees
that no government can tell you what religion is that nation’s official religion. It has nothing to do with teaching
creation along with evolution in schools, or having the Ten Commandments hanging on a wall. But the people who refuse to see
or read the Godly manner in which this nation was founded, are going to be so sorry when they die and find out how very wrong
they were.
People will read a book about World War Two, written by a person who was there, and they believe. But they
refuse to read the Bible, written by people who were there, with all telling stories that agree…a book holding prophecies
written hundreds of years before they actually happened, that have come true. Yet most turn a blind eye. After Christ rose
from the tomb, he was seen by many people…hundreds, including His Apostles who had lived with Him before His crucifixion,
yet when the guards at His sealed tomb reported to their superiors, they were instructed to say, “His disciples came
by night, and stole him away while we slept…and if this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and
secure you.” (Matt 28:13-15). I have another Conquest article in which I call this “History’s Greatest Lie.”
Pity those guilty of it.
On this day we celebrate our winning independence from British rule, and so July 4th, 1776, is a day to remember
like the Maine, the Alamo, Pearl Harbor, and the Twin Towers. Too many are misusing the word “freedom” to ruin
our nation. Pray for God to stop them.
