Easter must be nature's favorite time. Of all the seasons when nature rises in praise to God, it must be loudest
at Easter and springtime.
Yes, I believe nature praises God. The Bible is full of accounts, both in the old and the new Testaments.
Luke (19th chapter) tells of a time when Christ's disciples were praising him and some Pharisees asked Jesus to stop them,
but He said "I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out." And I've mentioned
to you at other times, that I made a list of instances in the Bible of Nature's praise, and there are many of them. For example...the
16th chapter of First Chronicles where it says "Let the heavens be glad and let the earth rejoice...let the fields rejoice...
then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the Lord, because He cometh to judge the earth."
There are many examples in the Psalms..."Let the field be joyful...then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice...let
the multitude of isles be glad...let the sea in all its vastness roar with praise...let the floods clap their hands(Isaiah
55:12)...let the hills be joyful together." It goes on and on.
And so when you hear the birds singing, consider that they're singing praises. When the wind rustles through
the trees, hear the leaves clap together in praise. When the flowers push out of the ground in spring, they're reaching up
in praise. The sun shines out in praise, and the moon and stars reflect the light of God who made them all.
You were put on earth to praise Him, so remember to do it every time you can bring Him to mind. You'll just
be doing your job.
